Need SAP / SBEM energy ratings?

EAS can advise you

If you are involved with the building of new commercial or domestic dwellings, including extensions to existing property, then you will need an Approved energy rating in order to comply with the Building Regulations legislation introduced in April 2006.

The SAP / SBEM certification shows how energy efficient the building will be and the amount of carbon emitted.  Carefully choosing the correct insulation, heating, glazing etc for your build will go towards an energy rating that will help to satisfy the building regulation requirements.

It is vital that provision is made for the energy rating in the early stages of design with the architects.  Consideration at the start of the project will determine the build specifications and may reduce costly changes during the project.

The process need not be daunting!

EAS will work alongside you from early design and project implementation to help ensure final compliance and approval.
