Need Approved Part L Energy Ratings ?

EAS can advise you

If you are involved with the building of new commercial premises or domestic dwellings, including extensions to existing property, then you will need an Approved energy rating in order to comply with the Building Regulations legislation of October 2010.

The SAP / SBEM calculation shows how energy efficient the building will be and the amount of carbon emitted.  Carefully choosing the correct thermal insulation, heating, ventilation, glazing etc for your build will go towards an overall energy rating that will help to satisfy the ever stringent Building Regulation requirements.

See our links on the left for full details of the most recent Part L changes and the Code for Sustainable Homes requirements.

It is therefore vital that provision is made for the energy rating in the very early stages of the design.  Suitable consideration at the start of the project will determine the specifciation details and may reduce costly and inconvenient delays and revisions.

The process need not be daunting !

EAS will work alongside you from early design through to completion in order to help ensure final compliance and approval.
